Job Title: Full stack Developer

Location: 9300 Aalst, Belgium

Duration: 28/09/2026 - 31/12/2026 with possible extension

Mode of work: Hybrid (2 - 3 days onsite per week)

Languages: Dutch

Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

As a developer, you are responsible for developing solutions that meet the requirements set in the functional analysis and you are able to technically analyse the solution to be built. You monitor the quality of the solutions delivered in collaboration with colleagues and end users. The development is done entirely according to the principle of Test-Driven Development and in accordance with the standards and best practices established by the Client.

Skills

Demonstrable experience in development of the based applications-Must Have (Senior – 5 years)
Proven experience with full-stack development-Must Have (Intermediate – 4 years)
Proven experience with Functional Programming Java 8-Must Have
Demonstrable experience with Keycloak, Bamboo & GIT-Must Have
In possession of the Java SE 8 Programmer certificate --> UPLOAD-Must Have
Oracle Certified Associate --> TO UPLOAD-Must Have
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.-Must Have
Proven experience in leading a development team and coaching developers -Should Have
Be able to perform demonstrable experience in programming assignments very smoothly: coding, testing and debugging-Should Have
Demonstrable experience with frontend development (HTML 5 technology, Javascript, AngularJS & Typescript)-Should Have
Proven experience with the following technologies: JPA, JUnit, Wildfly, Maven 3.x, PostgreSQL, Restful web services (RestEasy), Spring and Spring Security-Should Have
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology, in which a leading role can be taken -Should Have
Demonstrable knowledge of processes within the Flemish government is a plus -Should Have
Demonstrable experience in using code versioning (e.g. Subversion)/ testing & code profiling tools/issue management tools (e.g. Jira) -Nice to Have
