As a Facility Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our physical spaces. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and effective communication.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  2. Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  3. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
  4. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Our expectations in terms of experience:

A. Technical maintenance:

  1. Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on building structures.
  2. Assembling and installing furniture and equipment.
  3. Painting, patching walls, and other carpentry tasks.
  4. Repairing doors, locks, and windows.
  5. Maintaining grounds and outdoor facilities.

B. Electricity:

  1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and wiring.
  2. Troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
  3. Installing and repairing light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
  4. Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  5. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

C. Plumbing:

  1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
  2. Unclogging drains and repairing leaks in pipes and fixtures.
  3. Installing and repairing water heaters, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing appliances.
  4. Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.
  5. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.

Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; proficiency in French and Romanian is a plus.
