Mission Description:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current IT infrastructure while proactively identifying areas for enhancement.
- Improve workflows by implementing innovative technical solutions.
- Regularly engage with stakeholders, providing updates on IT development processes and associated costs.
- Drive process optimization across the organization.
- Achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Continuously assess both existing and emerging technologies.
- Design and test technical architecture.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and address problem areas.
- Propose IT solutions to overcome organizational challenges.
- Develop, review, and refine code.
- Ensure thorough and up-to-date IT documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve organizational efficiency.
- Effectively communicate concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, to senior IT management and relevant governance bodies (e.g., steering committee).
- Support procurement processes and policies; manage and report on project financial performance.
- Work with team members and third-party vendors to establish, update, and maintain security processes and procedures.
Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience delivering successful IT architecture solutions and/or developments.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networking, storage, security, etc.).
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies, platforms, and tools (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficient in coding languages, scripting, operating systems, and databases, with experience working across various infrastructure platforms.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen interest in developing creative solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact projects.
- (Preferred) Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Information Security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27*, CIS CSC) and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR) for risk management.
