We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Support Engineer to provide 2nd/3rd line technical support across Windows infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity. The role will focus on maintaining secure and reliable IT environments, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for Windows servers, desktops, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking, connectivity, and security issues.
- Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
- Implement security controls, patching, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to problem and incident management.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement projects.
Experience
- Strong experience as a Senior Support / Infrastructure Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft technologies.
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and switching. xlxgzvr
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and access control.
