Product Owner Billing

As Senior Product Owner Billing at Arxus Group, you will lead the development of a partner-friendly billing platform integrated into our digital ecosystem. Your focus will be on delivering high-impact features and coordinating end-to-end delivery across development teams.You’ll work closely with other Product Owners and the CX Lead to ensure our digital channels support seamless business interactions and deliver maximum value. Your role is key in shaping a billing experience that’s intuitive, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals. Your profile:You are a Senior Product Owner, experienced in the realm of Finance, with a downright ‘can-do’ mentality. We’re looking for an experienced leader within the world of (FinTech) Software Development (in this case the B2B tech service business) with a focus on Billing Platforms. This is you: You have lived and breathed Product Ownership for many years yourself or you have been in Software Development yourself but moved on to a PO role within the realm of FinanceAlternatively, you have been in a Billing Management role but, given tech appeals to you, you want to steer the features of a next generation Billing platform and have a natural interest in technologyYou understand Billing is more than just creating invoices and as a result ensure the full set of activities typically done by a Billing team are supported to the maximum possibleAdditionally, you believe workflows within the UI and UX have to be Finance oriented to have a billing platform stand-outAn analytical mind. Where other people see problems, you see solutions You understand how to create product backlogs, prioritize them and work with chapter/dev leads to ensure sprint backlogs are populated accordinglyYou understand a product’s success is determined by the (ease of) adoption You respect cultural differences and understand how to manage them You are pro-active and feel ownership implies accountabilityYou don’t mind (co-)creating the necessary epics, user stories and acceptance criteria that ultimately lead to your features and capabilitiesYou have a genuine interest into the B2B tech service business (Cloud, Data & AI, Security, …)Good communication skills, not only will you need this for after work drinks, but you’ll be working with a lot of internal stakeholders within Arxus and external stakeholdersExcellent in speaking and writing EnglishSkillsRelevant working experience: 5-10 years Knowledge:Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Azure Devops or Confluence Knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworksKnowledge of Billing and FinOps practicesKnowledge of pricing and revenue stream typesNotion of all things typically considered O2CHard skills: Experience with building Financial Platforms in a B2B partner driven contextExperience in horizontally managing cross functional teams and coordinating dependenciesExperience in helping test driving prototypes for early and quick feedback to ensure top UI/UXExperience with value proposition creation and the reflection of that value prop within the platform features and capabilities as well as vice versaWell versed in (co-)translating needs and requirements in modular components from a development perspective using epics and user stories (supported by analysts and chapter/dev leads)Speak dev & finance Soft skillsAdvanced spoken and written skills in English & DutchAnalytical mindset with an own view on how things should be done Communicate with impact Trustworthy and trust builder Ability to see the bigger picture and interdependencies Ability to steer (horizontally) and mobilize the organization via stakeholder managementAbility to think in personasAbility to handle parallel tracks
