Deloitte Legal – Lawyers provides thorough and practical solutions tailored to the needs of clients ranging from multinational companies, national large and medium-sized enterprises, financial institutions and government bodies, to high-net-worth families and individuals.
We are looking for a Quality, Risk & Regulations (QRR) professional for Deloitte Legal -Lawyers.
Responsibilities- You are, together with the other QRR team members, responsible for the Tax & Legal QRR program, which is a highly developed Quality and Risk program which ensures that high Quality & Risk standards are maintained at all levels within the Tax & Legal function;
- You monitor compliance with Quality & Risk policies & procedures (client and engagement acceptance including anti-money laundering regulations and auditor independence rules, use of engagement letters and business terms, etc.);
- You provide assistance to consultants with respect to contracting (reviewing proposals, engagement letters, NDA’s, Hold Harmless Letters, Terms of Business, …) and liaise with our internal legal department, if required;
- You assist in the Internal Quality and Risk Review Program, which includes amongst others:
- Conducting internal reviews to verify compliance with all quality, risk and independence related policies and regulations;
- Providing assistance in the yearly review of the client portfolio from a risk perspective;
- Assistance to internal and external audits regarding Quality and Risk matters.
- You (co) facilitate trainings on QRR topics to the lawyers.
- You assist consultants in their day-to-day questions on Quality & Risk matters;
- You prepare periodical newsletters on QRR matters;
- Review of work performed by more junior QRR team members;
- You provide input to enhance the QRR processes and procedures;
- You report to the Tax & Legal QRR Leader.
- You hold a bachelor or master degree (in law, economics,...)
- You have 2 to 3 years of professional experience
- You are able to think out-of-the-box
- You have a strong and outgoing personality
- You have a service minded attitude
- Planning, prioritizing, eye for detail and working independently, are key
- Experience in working areas such as tax, legal, finance is a plus
- You are Dutch and/or French speaking with good knowledge of English
- You work fluently with Word and Excel
- You are a team player, assertive, communicative, proactive and stress-resistant.
