Tester (SNS01265)

Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks

1. Define test cases.
2. Build test scenarios and scripts for automated tests.
3. Coordinate and execute tests.
4. Report on test results.

Requirements

1. University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years.
2. At least 5 years of experience with Test Cases, testing IT applications and manual functional testing.
3. At least 3 years of experience with SQL statements writing and SQL scripting for data validation and verification, used in test scenarios.
4. At least 2 years of experience with Jira.
5. At least 2 years of experience with developing and executing automated test scripts for IT applications using test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber or similar.
6. At least 2 years of experience with Python, Java or JavaScript for test automation and version control systems.
7. At least 2 years of experience with version control systems such as Git.
8. At least 1 year of experience with Postman or SoapUI for automated API testing, including the development of scripts and validations for integration testing.
9. Experience with test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.
10. Knowledge of Test Management Tool and Defect Tracking Tool.
11. Excellent command of the English language.
