Samsonite is seeking a detail-oriented and Senior Accountant to oversee the end-to-end accounting process for one or more of our group entities. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while meeting reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Process supplier invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage the monthly closing process, including account reconciliations.
  • Calculate agent commissions and customer year-end discounts.
  • Review and control the general ledger, analyzing cost center variances.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and Intrastat reports, as well as other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Compile statutory annual accounts in compliance with applicable regulations.
