The Role:
We are looking for a freelance brand manager to join our marketing team for a temporary assignment.
In this role you will be involved in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives across our divisions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive brand growth, build market presence, and communicate our offerings effectively. This role is ideal for someone who combines a strategic vision with hands-on scientific marketing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to align with QbD's overarching business objectives.
- Oversee the creation and rollout of marketing campaigns, including content and distribution strategies.
- Ensure consistency and effectiveness in all marketing activities, from advertising to channel communications.
- Create awareness to position QbD Group as a preferred partner in the life sciences sector.
- Define and refine messaging that resonates with our target audiences and supports the broader company goals.
- Collaborate across divisions to create a unified and cohesive corporate identity.
- Provide support and resources for sales teams, helping to communicate our value propositions clearly and effectively.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to increase visibility and create valuable industry connections.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
Who You Are:
- You have 8+ years of experience in marketing within the B2B life sciences industry, driving strategic initiatives and building strong market presence.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, and you can express yourself fluently in spoken and written English.
- You are strategic, but you enjoy being involved in tactical execution as well.
- You are a strong communicator with a talent for simplifying complex propositions into compelling messages.
- You have experience working across teams, managing stakeholders, and aligning different divisions towards a common brand goal.
- You are analytical and comfortable reporting on campaign performance using data insights.
- You are independent and mature.
- You are proactive and a real initiator.
- You can set priorities and have strong project management skills.
- You are a creative mind who likes to roll up your sleeves to achieve results.
- Experience with Hubspot is a plus
The team:
You will be part of the international QbD Group marketing team. The marketing team currently operates from our offices in Belgium (Antwerp) and Spain (Madrid, Barcelona).
