We're Hiring Data Engineer (Azure) Location: Antwerp Are you a Data Engineer who loves building scalable cloud solutions and ensuring high-quality, reliable data flows across an entire organisation? Do you want to work in a dynamic and international environment where your work enables smarter, data-driven decision-making? Then we want to meet you Your Role As a Data Engineer, you will take ownership of the Azure data platform and modern data stack. Your work will ensure the business has trusted, high-quality data at all times. What you'll do Own end-to-end data pipelines: extract, cleanse, transform and deliver data into our DWH and medallion architecture. Build & automate ETL processes that ensure stable and efficient data flows across the organisation. Engineer the Azure platform (Databricks, Data Factory, EventHub, DevOps pipelines) for maximum reliability, scalability and performance. Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure secure, consistent deployments. Handle release & deployment processes across DEV, ACC and PROD environments. Design business-oriented data models and maintain data contracts aligned with Inmon, Kimball or DataVault principles. Safeguard data quality & monitoring, proactively detecting issues and ensuring smooth operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, developers and application owners to translate business needs into strong data solutions. Document pipelines, models and platform components according to best practices. Your Profile You bring: 5+ years experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, EventHub, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL and dbt. Strong data modeling skills (Inmon, Kimball, DataVault). A deep understanding of end-to-end data flows and the ability to make solid technical decisions. Clear communication skills A proactive, quality-driven mindset with a focus on automation, maintainability and documentation. Hands-on delivery approach with consistent and reliable execution.
