CMC Statistician (Contractor) – Biopharma Sector We're seeking a CMC Statistician to provide expert statistical consultancy in the context of biological and gene therapy molecules. This role is ideal for someone passionate about applying advanced statistical methods to support CMC development, process optimization, and regulatory submissions in a dynamic biopharmaceutical environment. Key Responsibilities Design experiments and perform statistical analyses to support product and process development. Contribute to stability studies, method robustness and equivalence, validation, and specification setting. Write and review technical reports, ensuring statistical accuracy and regulatory compliance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across CMC, analytical chemistry, and manufacturing. Support multiple ongoing projects, meeting tight deadlines and quality standards. Continue developing expertise in emerging statistical methodologies and tools. Qualifications Master's degree in Statistics (PhD preferred), ideally with a strong foundation in Mathematics. 2–4 years of experience as a statistician in pharmaceutical product development. Proficiency in statistical software: R, JMP, and SAS (Python is a plus). Solid understanding of DOE, regression modeling, variance component analysis, multivariate analysis, process capability, and control charts. Knowledge of Bayesian statistics is an advantage. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (French a plus). Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
