We're looking for a Medior Databricks Data Engineer who loves transforming raw data into scalable, high-performing solutions. You'll design and build modern Lakehouse platforms using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Microsoft Fabric. Help customers modernize their data landscape and enable advanced AI and analytics use cases.

What you'll do

  • Design and optimize modern data platforms and solutions using Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Spark, Lakehouse architectures, and AI-ready data platforms.
  • Enable GenAI use cases by preparing data platforms and pipelines to support LLM, RAG, and AI-driven applications.
  • Contribute to Data Mesh architectures, enabling scalable, decentralized, and domain-oriented data solutions.
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, CI/CD processes, and cloud architecture.
  • Collaborate with data professionals, architects, and business stakeholders to design and deliver impactful data and AI solutions.

What you'll bring

  • Around 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL), SQL, and Python
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling, cloud platforms, and CI/CD
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, plus English
  • Open to both employees and freelance consultants
