Senior Hardware Engineer - High-Speed Design
Location: Liege, Belgium
Employment: Full-Time/Permanent
About the role:
Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their electronics development team.
The company designs high-performance electronic systems for demanding data-transmission applications, built around advanced high-speed digital technologies.
You'll take part in all stages of hardware design, from specification through to production.
Including: hardware design, testing and simulation, schematics, layout specification, signal and power integrity work, layout review, lab measurement and prototype debugging.
Key competencies:
Hardware design, test & simulation
Signal & Power Integrity
High-speed digital signals/high-speed digital signal integrity
Your profile:
Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
8+ years' experience in high-speed board design
Strong lab measurement and debugging skills
Experience with SI/PI simulation tools (e.g. Hyperlynx or equivalent)
Experience with schematic/layout design tools (e.g. Altium Designer or equivalent)
