We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and optimize IT infrastructure services on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT infrastructure management, team leadership, and financial oversight. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems while driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure high availability and business continuity through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
- Oversee IT infrastructure budgeting, including cost forecasting, resource allocation, and licensing.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supervise daily IT operations, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
- Develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps and strategic IT projects.
- Lead infrastructure deployment processes, ensuring seamless rollouts of updates and new solutions.
- Oversee infrastructure supporting operational technology (OT) applications for critical business functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- 5+ years of experience in department leadership and managing large teams.
- Proven experience in C-level reporting and full P&L responsibility.
- Strong expertise in IT project management and risk management.
- ITIL certification is required; PMI, PMBOK, or Prince2 certifications are a plus.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in either French or Dutch and working knowledge of the second language.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
