Our team plays a critical role in supporting the lifecycle of our products by ensuring timely, accurate, and value-driven spare parts operations across the region. Your role We are looking for a Business Engineer to join our team in Daikin's European Headquarters in Ostend. This role offers a multi-faceted, international environment where you'll collaborate closely with affiliates across EMEA to support and shape our service strategy. Monitor and report on sales performance KPI's, including revenue and gross margin. Analyze gross margin performance and deliver actionable insights using data analysis and reporting tools. Own and optimize the full pricing lifecycle – from strategy to execution. Develop smarter pricing logic based on supplier costs, transport fees, and competitive benchmarks. Automate manual pricing processes and reporting workflows. Improve master data quality and streamline price creation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and affiliates to harmonize pricing policies and drive centralization including strategic shift to value based pricing. As such, this position is ideal for someone who combines analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and thrives in a role that transforms pricing operations, improves gross margins, and drives strategic initiatives across the EMEA region. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. Proactive, independent and communicative, while thriving in team environments. Experience in data analysis is a plus. Both young graduates and experienced professionals are welcome. Strong skills or willing to grow in Power BI, Excel (advanced), and Python or similar scripting tools is a plus. Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Spoken language: English is required. Any other European language is a plus.
