Senior Process

As part of our Life Sciences activities, we are looking for a Senior Process & Project Engineer to support the delivery of multiple engineering and investment projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will oversee projects from initial definition through implementation, ensuring compliance, operational continuity and alignment with business objectives. You will combine technical expertise, project management skills and stakeholder coordination to successfully execute process improvements, equipment upgrades and facility modifications in a highly regulated environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Manage several small to medium-sized engineering and process improvement projects simultaneously within pharmaceutical production facilities.
• Define project scope, technical requirements, planning, budget and resource needs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities involving production, engineering, validation, quality, maintenance and external contractors.
• Lead process optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, product quality and operational performance.
• Prepare technical specifications, evaluate suppliers and support procurement activities.
• Monitor project execution, budget, risks and timelines while ensuring compliance with GMP and EHS requirements.
• Support commissioning, qualification and handover activities to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and presentations for management and project stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Engineering, Process Engineering or CAPEX project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industrial project execution.
• Experience collaborating with validation, quality assurance, production and maintenance teams.
• Good understanding of GMP regulations, engineering standards and project lifecycle management.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.
