#Wanted: Commercial Legal Counsel#AntwerpYour functionAs part of the Legal & Compliance team, you will act as a trusted advisor on a wide range of commercial legal matters, directly supporting the business in real estate transactions and project development. You will work closely with colleagues across departments to enable legally sound and commercially efficient outcomes.Advise on the legal aspects of real estate transactions, partnerships, and commercial operationsDraft, review and negotiate a broad variety of contracts including service agreements, commercial leases, construction and supplier contractsSupport the business in handling pre-litigation and litigation matters, working with external counsel where neededProvide guidance on corporate housekeeping and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policiesCreate, maintain and implement legal templates and internal guidelinesContribute to the development of a compliance culture and the roll-out of compliance policiesMonitor relevant legal developments and proactively manage legal risks in real estate projectsYour profileMaster's degree in law from a Belgian university4–8 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house, preferably with exposure to real estate, construction or commercial lawExcellent command of Dutch and French, with good knowledge of EnglishBusiness-minded and solution-oriented approachStrong drafting and negotiation skillsResilient, autonomous and efficient in managing prioritiesTeam player with strong interpersonal communication skillsWhat's in it for youOur client offers a hybrid work environment where legal professionals are empowered to grow, influence, and collaborate across departments.
