SAP Data Migration Lead

Red Global delivers expert SAP Consultants to our customers on a global scale.

Currently, on behalf of one of our international clients, we are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration lead to join a 12-month project with extension opportunities upon completion.

You will be joining an ongoing S/4 HANA implementation project; therefore, strong experience in the coordination of S/4 HANA based projects is vitally important for this role.

This is a large-scale transformation project and an opportunity to join a long-term exciting assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Migration Activity Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary contact for all business-related migration activities within the S/4HANA project.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders and the integration team to collect and validate data mapping rules.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with various business units to request and follow up on necessary information, ensuring timely completion of migration tasks.
    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the integration team to address any issues or delays.
  3. Data Cleaning Coordination:
    • Oversee and coordinate data cleaning efforts to ensure high-quality and consistent data for migration.
    • Develop and implement data cleaning strategies in partnership with business units.
  4. Status Reporting and Dashboards:
    • Design and maintain dashboards to monitor the progress of migration activities.
    • Provide regular status updates and reports to the project management team and key stakeholders.
    • Quickly identify and address any issues related to data migration.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the relevant stakeholders and ensure they are resolved promptly.
