About Our Client
Our client is a leading food manufacturer with high-quality standards and a strong presence in Europe. Their Belgian operations include five production sites and are part of an international group worldwide.
Job Description
- Advise on machinery purchases, PPE, and risk assessments.
- Work with external partners on risk evaluations (e.g., ergonomics, noise).
- Act as the safety contact for authorities, internal teams, and partners.
- Participate in production meetings and support safety initiatives.
- Monitor risks, conduct safety rounds, and investigate incidents.
- Improve emergency and evacuation plans and liaise with emergency services.
- Contribute to the annual safety action plan.
- Report to the Head of Prevention and act as secretary for the Safety Committee.
The Successful Applicant
- Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 or willing to obtain certification.
- Experience in a safety role within a production environment preferred.
- Strong analytical, independent, and proactive mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and French; English is required for international communication.
