Overview Are you the AI & Data Architect who inspires and guides clients through their AI and data-driven transformation? As a client-facing AI & Data Architect at iO, you are the strategic sparring partner who helps organisations discover, shape and realise their AI and data opportunities. Responsibilities Client‑facing solutioning: Working with clients and prospects to identify business issues and translate them into concrete AI and data solutions Commercial involvement: Contributing AI and data expertise to sales processes, devising solutions and estimating the workload for complex AI projects Hands‑on development: Collaborate with lead developers on solutioning and develop POCs to make concepts tangible. Client presentations: Explain AI solutions and architectures to clients, explain complex technology in an accessible way and act as a sparring partner. AI & Data architecture: Design scalable AI solutions, data pipelines and integration of LLMs, RAG patterns and analytics platforms. Trend watching: Following the latest AI and data developments and translating them into practical opportunities for customers Knowledge sharing: Supporting AI awareness and capabilities in the organisation through internal sessions and knowledge sharing Thought leadership: Using your knowledge commercially through blog posts, customer inspiration sessions and external speaking engagements Discover & Define support: Contributing ideas during project phases about the right architectural choices and approach, after which you hand over to development teams Qualifications & Skills Client‑facing expertise: You have experience with customer interaction, requirements gathering and translating business challenges into technical solutions AI & Data technology: You are proficient in modern AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, machine learning pipelines and cloud AI services, and can devise solutions based on these technologies. Commercial skills: You are comfortable with sales processes and know how to present technical expertise convincingly to business stakeholders. Hands‑on development: You have experience with Python, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data processing frameworks and can contribute to POCs and prototypes. Communication skills: You can explain complex AI concepts to both technical teams and C‑level executives and are a strong presenter. Trend awareness: You actively follow the latest developments in AI and data and know how to translate these into practical business opportunities. Strategic thinking: You can think about AI implementations at an architectural level, but also contribute hands‑on to concrete solutions. Inspiring personality: You know how to get customers excited about AI possibilities and act as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation. Thought leadership: You have an affinity for knowledge sharing, writing and speaking about AI & data topics, and want to apply your expertise broadly. Flexible working style: You feel comfortable in both strategic discussions and hands‑on development work, and can switch between different project phases. Ideal profile: An experienced AI & Data professional who is commercially strong, can continue to work hands‑on, keeps up with trends and wants to apply their expertise broadly – from customer presentations to POCs and from blog posts to inspiration sessions. You will be our go‑to person for AI & Data in commercial projects.
