Overheden moeten meer doen met minder middelen en slimmer opereren. Er is behoefte aan betere financiële transformatie, compliance en controlling, en betere rapportage over financiën. Je komt terecht in het EY sector-georiënteerde kennissnetwerk dat 100% gericht is op de Belgische government & public sector, waar je ons team van finance consultants versterkt en bijdraagt aan het versterken van financieel veerkrachtige en weerbare overheidsorganisaties. Responsibilities Meewerken aan het oplossen van vraagstukken m.b.t. financiële planning, analyse en projecties; Optimaliseren van financiële processen en werking; Ondersteuning bij begroting of financiële meerjarenplanning, inkomsten- en uitgavenbeheer of verbeteren van financiële controle; Adviseren van managementleden, staffuncties en proceseigenaars bij publieke klanten op federaal, regionaal, lokaal niveau (en alles daartussenin); Werken binnen een multidisciplinair team en mogelijk interne rollen en projecten oppakken. Jouw profiel Masterdiploma in management, bedrijfskunde, financiën, economie of vergelijkbaar door ervaring; een diploma in bestuurskunde of overheidmanagement is een pluspunt. 2 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring in financiële functies binnen de publieke sector en/of advisering aan overheidsinstanties. Kennis van en ervaring met vakjargon en methodieken voor de Belgische publieke sector (bijv. Beheers- en Beleidscyclus, VAK/VEK-budgettering). Een financieel generalist met vermogen om complexe materie duidelijk uit te leggen en als sparringspartner te fungeren voor experten in overheidsfinanciën. Teamgericht met oog voor detail en analytische denkkracht om te komen tot gestructureerde plannen van aanpak. Nederlands als moedertaal of professioneel vloeiend; kennis van Frans en/of Engels is een plus.
