JOB DESCRIPTION: The scope of our mission is to reinforce a team as a right-hand Project Lead to support procurement activities ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant purchasing within an industrial environment. The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include: Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution Fully manage the tender process; your contribution varies with the complexity of the files. Update technical and commercial specifications according to the desired result. Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments Detect internal clients' purchasing needs in time based on data analysis and regular contacts. Create sufficient market opening by examining internal demand, describing it correctly, and timely developing the necessary market interest. Define and develop a vision for the future purchasing of certain categories of goods and services (Purchase plan). Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders Apply an appropriate negotiation strategy to find the most advantageous solution. Manage ongoing contracts during their validity (claims, possible renegotiations, etc.) in consultation with internal clients. The experience we are actively looking for: Master's degree in Industrial Sciences, Applied Economics, or equivalent, with minimum 3 years of professional experience in an industrial setting. Proven experience in negotiations. Knowledge of public procurement procedures is a plus. Technical purchasing experience is considered a strong asset. Solid drafting skills, especially with contractual texts. Proactive, assertive, diplomatic, and solution-oriented mindset. Strong organizational capacity and stress resistance. Team player, with ability to collaborate across departments. Fluent in French and Dutch, with good command of English. Skilled in MS Office and office tools; knowledge of SAP or COUPA is an asset. Driving license B. An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start). Immediate availability is preferred. Presence in Belgium is preferred, with valid Single permit for non-EU citizens.
