This vital role supports their ambition to optimise logistics support and technical publication processes for complex defence systems. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects that enhance operational readiness and product sustainment, making a real difference in safety and effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesLead and perform ASL studies to determine optimal support strategiesDevelop and refine maintenance plans, including preliminary and detailed analysesManage all data associated with ASL activities, ensuring accuracy and accessibilityDefine, produce, and validate technical publications such as manuals, illustrations, and service bulletinsOversee the production and quality control of training materials and maintenance documentationValidate technical content against standards, ensuring compliance and readabilityCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of technical data with project requirementsSpecify and monitor development of specialised maintenance toolsContribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation standardsEssential Skills & ExperienceDegree in electromechanics, industrial engineering, or a comparable fieldProven experience in system logistics support within a defence or high-technology environmentProficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as Spanish or Dutch are advantageousStrong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentationAbility to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectivelyVersatility to adapt across multiple tasks and project phasesFamiliarity with standards such as S1000D, S2200M, and S3000L is preferredExperience with illustration tools like IsoDraw or Creo Illustrate is desirableKnowledge of internal tools such as PdM, Creo View, and SharePoint is a plusDesirable Skills & ExperienceKnowledge of structured documentation platforms like ArbortextExperience in writing and managing technical data in accordance with industry standardsBasic understanding of system products used in defence or aerospace sectorsMultilingual abilities, particularly in passive understanding of Spanish or Dutch, to support multi-national projectsNext Steps If you are a driven professional with a passion for supporting critical defence systems through meticulous logistics and technical documentation, we want to hear from you.
