Artemys is a Belgian company offering recruitment services to major technical players in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable development, and the circular economy.For one of our clients – a leading global manufacturer of electric devices, with a strong commitment to sustainability and digital energy management transition – we are looking for a Field Technician – Industrial Technologies, who will be responsible for installing, inspecting, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium-voltage switchgear products and components.Location: BrusselsJOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Field Technician – Industrial Technologies, you will have a hands-on field role, and you will be in charge of installing, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintaining, retrofitting, and repairing medium and low voltage switch-gear equipment and components installed at client sites, in diverse technical and technological environments, including the industrial and high-tech sectors. You will provide full technical support to the clients as well. And most importantly, you will be continuously trained, both through numerous online courses and on the job.Key tasks:Attend and follow multiple training sessions designed to help you gradually assume and perform your tasks within your hands-on role as a field technicianAt the same time, continuously upskill in order to be able to provide technical support and educate clients on products and services offeredDevelop and maintain a broad understanding of the company's product and service offeringPerform installation, inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs across the medium-voltage and low-voltage product rangePerform preventive and corrective, both scheduled and unscheduled, maintenance on the equipmentPerform basic audits of clients' electrical equipment and systems, as well as technical tests, adjustments, and diagnosticsPerform your work independently or within a team, according to your level of experience; depending on the level of complexity of the intervention, you will always have the support of a product specialist or a more senior field specialist to help you upskill or assist in resolving a possible technical issueAnalyse malfunctions in equipment and interpret maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct issuesAdvise clients on best practices, new services, and upgrade opportunities, as well as on possible issues and ways to solve them efficientlyCommunicate regularly with the Planning Coordinator for the smooth execution of interventionsProvide timely reports and perform administrative tasks as requiredWhen possible and depending on the client's needs, identify sales opportunities and submit them to sales teamsRespect and implement all relevant quality and safety measures, policies and guidelines, always putting security firstYOUR PROFILERelevant degree in electronics / electricity / mechanicsKnowledge of French or Dutch, or an average level of the other; knowledge of English is a plusVerifiable hands-on technical work experience requiredA good feel for electricity and possibly industrial components; a strong technical base in medium-voltage electrical products and solutions will be a plusProficient personal computer skillsClient focus and ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to work independently, as well as in a teamAbility to comply with all safety policies, practices, and proceduresExcellent troubleshooting mindsetWillingness to learn and be trained continuously, invest in personal development in the long term, grow and evolve within the companyOUR OFFERA permanent, full-time employment contractA competitive compensation package with a range of benefits: attractive fixed salary, company car, bonus system, insurance, company phone, monthly fixed expenses,...Continuous technical training on a medium voltage range of products and solutionsContinuous learning and development opportunities – access to internal L&D programmes, learning on the spot, as well as through online training sessionsContinuous technical help and support from your colleagues, technical specialistsAn opportunity to grow professionally in a company culture that encourages performance and cooperation
