R&D Lab Technician

PanTera is looking for a talented and experienced laboratory technician to strengthen our R&D team. This is a hands-on and diverse position that requires the willingness to work in a radioactive environment with the focus in assisting in chemical experiments. The ideal candidate has a broad technical skill set, is eager to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team at the forefront of medical isotope production. In this role, you will support the ongoing production of Actinium-225, with a focus not only on maintenance but also on improving various systems. A significant part of the job involves prototyping and assembly work to support the transition toward a future large-scale Actinium production facility. Responsibilities Conduct chemical experiments according to established protocols, record results and observations Setup of chemical installations and prototypes Calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment such as spectrometers Provide the Chemistry R&D team with feedback using your practical knowledge Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific policies Qualifications and Skills Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical or R&D setting, preferably in a nuclear environment Familiarity with lab safety practices and documentation standards Proficiency in Dutch and English.
