We are actively looking for anOptimisation Operations Specialist.Within the operations team, you will participate in establishing, improving and executing the operational processes that ensure our battery assets are successfully onboarded, enabled for market participation, perform reliably in daily operations, and are settled correctly. This covers the full lifecycle of an asset: from onboarding new sites and integrating them into our platform Voltana, to ensuring all contracts are in place, managing operational processes with electricity suppliers and system operators, monitoring day-to-day market participation, and following through on settlement and reporting. By doing so, you help guarantee that every battery delivers reliable performance and value without penalties or disruptions. Your mission: Support the transformation of each battery into a tradeable asset by executing and continuously refining operational, contractual, and administrative workflows before, during, and after market participation. Job details. As anOptimisation Operations Specialistyou'll be responsible for: Asset Onboarding & Market Enablement Onboarding of new sites & assets – Onboard new batteries and prepare them for trading. This includes ensuring that contracts are in place and that all site and battery relevant data are correctly set in Voltana. Manage market registration processes - Ensure all required contracts (e.g. electricity supplier agreement), DSO/TSO registrations (registration of the asset in the FlexHub, registration in the ancillary service contracts). Coordinate asset prequalification – Ensure that our system and assets are/remain prequalified for participation in ancillary services. Manage Market Operations Oversee virtual batteries – Manage the virtual batteries and their composition to ensure maximum value creation. Assure performance - Proactviely monitor that the trading is correctly executed to prevent penalties or underperformance (including systems service bidding) and the energy delivered as expected so that no penalties occur. Drive optimisation operational improvements - Identify process or platform improvements to increase operational reliability and market performance. Manage incidents – Ensure that incidents (non delivery of power, penalties,…) are identified as soon as possible, coordinate actions to mitigate the impact and manage the post-mortems. Settlement & Contractual Alignment Oversee optimisation contracts – manage contracts with electricity supplier, BRP's and system operators. Manage and execute settlement process – Oversee the settlement process with all relevant parties, ensuring accuracy in financial flows. Act as optimisation operations SPOC – Serve as the main external contact for electricity suppliers, BRPs, and grid operators on all optimisation-related topics. Continuous Improvement Set and refine operational standards - Define and update operational standards, KPIs, and SLAs for market and asset performance. Enhance processes through platform improvements - Work with Product to implement platform features that automate or enhance operational processes. Drive readiness for new products - Contribute to the design and operational implementation of new market products within your domain. Your profile. To be successful in this role, you'll need: You have a master's degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in the electricity sector. A hands-on, pragmatic attitude with the ability to drive projects independently from ideation to execution. Strong organizational and structuring skills. To be comfortable working across technical, regulatory and commercial topics. To be curious and eager to learn about the energy markets To be fluent in English, both oral and written.
