Bij Milcobel Kallo zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Project Engineer die graag de mouwen opstroopt, technische uitdagingen praktisch aanpakt en met slimme, duurzame oplossingen komt. Als onderdeel van ons team werk je nauw samen met de onderhoudsdienst om projecten te definiëren en te realiseren, van voorbereiding tot indienststelling. Als Project Engineer bij Milcobel ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het succesvol uitvoeren van projecten die bijdragen aan de optimalisatie van onze productieprocessen. Je houdt het overzicht, komt met innovatieve voorstellen en zorgt voor de technische uitvoering van projecten op het gebied van installaties, utilities en faciliteiten. Hierbij werk je aan zowel elektrische als mechanische vraagstukken, zoals bijvoorbeeld het herbekijken van de werking van de ijswatercentrale, het optimaliseren van stoomverbruik, het ombouwen van onderstations & hoogspanningsposten en het verbeteren van poedertransport.

Je taken omvatten onder andere:

  • Het aanleveren van voorstellen en ideeën om productie- en procesverbeteringen door te voeren.
  • Het volgen van nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen en marktinnovaties voor mogelijke toepassingen.
  • Het uitvoeren van haalbaarheidsstudies, opstellen van planningen en begrotingen voor projecten.
  • Het leiden van projecten vanaf de voorbereidingsfase tot indienststelling.
  • Het selecteren en onderhandelen met leveranciers en het aansteken van externe projectingenieurs en contractors.
  • Het financieel opvolgen van projecten (CAPEX en OPEX) in samenwerking met de Maintenance Manager.
  • Het onderhouden van nauw contact met de technische en operationele afdelingen, zoals productie, kwaliteit en preventie.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Een technische achtergrond (bijv. bachelor) en/of 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring in industrieel onderhoud en projectbeheer, bij voorkeur in een complexe, industriële productieomgeving.
  • Ervaring binnen de procesindustrie op zowel mechanisch (kleppen, pompen en specifieke materiaalkeuzes) als elektrisch vlak. Automatisatie (PLC's, PID-regelaars instellen…) is een plus.
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en een pragmatische werkhouding: je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en lost technische vraagstukken snel en efficiënt op.
  • Sterk analytisch en conceptueel denkvermogen, met de vaardigheid om dit praktisch toe te passen op de werkvloer.
  • Oplossingsgericht en een goede balans tussen tactisch, strategisch en praktisch denken.
  • Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel, doorzettingsvermogen en de drive om verbeteringen door te voeren.
