As a rapidly growing company, launched in April 2020, we are looking for new talent to contribute to this transformation. The Operations team As an Operations Associate at Merchery, you will play a key role in making our internal operations more fluid and scalable. Your mission will be to help the company grow by improving processes, implementing tools, and enabling teams to work more efficiently. You'll identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and turn them into concrete solutions. Day to day, you'll be focused on removing operational friction, supporting different teams, and ensuring our internal engine runs smoothly. This role is central to our growth: you will progressively take full responsibility for our internal tools and processes, making sure they continue to support the company's ambition to scale faster and smarter. Joining the Operations team... ... means working closely with the co-founder and other operations managers at Merchery. You'll make sure every product leaves our warehouses on time, in perfect condition, and at the best possible cost — while keeping the experience exceptional for both our team and our clients. You'll report to Benoit and work closely with our production, sales, and tech teams, as well as external partners (shipping providers, warehouses, and packaging partners).

Key Responsibilities
1. Shipping Operations Manage and improve partnerships with shipping providers Negotiate prices and service conditions to reduce costs and improve reliability. Develop tools and processes with the tech team to predict and control shipping prices. Identify and onboard new shipping partners, including pallet and international carriers. To offer the cheapest shipping option Work with the tech team to integrate shipping solutions on the website (precise quoting, tracking, precise delivery estimates). Ensure compliance with international shipment requirements (customs, documentation, export regulations). 2. Warehousing & Stock Management Streamline warehouse and stock management processes to ensure faster order preparation and shipment. Improve the setup and usage of tools like Odoo for logistics and stock tracking. Oversee inventory of samples and blanks at suppliers and printers — including valuation and reporting. Manage packaging assembly and logistics operations with our logistic partners Optimize the Merchery boxes and unboxing experience to make it both beautiful and operationally efficient. Work on reporting to track the performances of our partners and setup SLA with them 3. Merchery Logistics Map, document, and improve existing Merchery logistics workflows across teams (sales, production, operations). Work on automation opportunities with our logistic provider and tech teams to make Merchery logistics more efficient and traceable. Ensure Merchery logistics processes are well documented and easily scalable for future growth Could you be the one? You have between 0 to 2 years experience in consulting or other relevant role in operations strategy You are fluent in English – fluent French is a plus You have a strong analytical sense and a keen eye for observation. You are curious about how things work and love digging into processes to improve them. You enjoy facing operational problems, breaking them down, and finding smart solutions. You're a bit of a process geek: you get excited about tools, automation, and modern ways of working. You are sensitive to data and its nuances, and comfortable working with numbers. You're hands-on with Excel or data analysis and eager to explore new tools. You are structured, organized, and comfortable multitasking (essential).
