Eurogentec is an internationally successful biotechnology supplier, based in Belgium (Liège area), that specializes in genomics and proteomics kits and reagents as well as cGMP biologics. The company was founded in 1985 as a spin-off from the University of Liège. Since 2010, the company is part of Kaneka Corporation, a Japanese international company, which has developed a broad technological platform in Asia, Europe and the US.
For the Eurogentec Group, we are hiring a new colleague (m/f/x) for the position of:

IT Business Analyst

You will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the company's IT systems, specifically focusing on SAP, CRM, Datawarehouse, MES systems, and other business-critical applications.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of external SAP service providers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of various business applications, and supporting the company's operational and strategic goals.

Your mission/responsibilities:

  1. SAP Management and Coordination:
    Oversee daily operations and the evolution of SAP systems.
    Coordinate and manage external SAP service providers to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
    Implement SAP system upgrades and new features in collaboration with external vendors.
  2. Business Applications Management:
    Manage IT environments for business applications such as CRM, MES, and other industry-specific software.
    Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of business applications.
    Lead the implementation of new business applications and system integrations.
  3. Project Management:
    Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
    Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into IT solutions.
    Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the utilization of business applications.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
    Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  6. Compliance and Security:
    Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all IT activities.
    Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data.

Your aptitudes:

  • Proficient in SAP system management (or other ERP systems), including configuration, customization, and support.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., SAP Sales & Service Cloud, Salesforce) and MES software is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, including the use of project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Understanding of IT security practices and regulatory compliance in the biotech/biopharma/life sciences industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and work demands.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the biotech, biopharma, or life sciences industries.
  • Certifications in SAP, CRM, or project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are a plus.
