Job title: Linux Application Administrator Location: Brussels, Belgium Langauges:English, Dutch or French Contract Duration:ASAP-12 Months+ Possible of extension Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Linux Application Administrator / Linux Specialist to join their IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be an all-round IT professional with strong hands-on expertise in Linux system administration and automation using Ansible. The role requires both strong technical capabilities and excellent soft skills to fit into a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support Linux-based systems in a production environment Manage and maintain automation workflows using Ansible Perform system patching, upgrades, and security updates Monitor system performance and availability using Zabbix Troubleshoot Linux system, application, and performance issues Execute RAK mounting / rack & stack activities when required Ensure system stability, availability, and compliance with internal standards Document configurations, procedures, and operational changes Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders Provide operational support and participate in incident/problem management Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience as a Linux Administrator / Linux Specialist Hands-on experience with Ansible automation Experience with Zabbix monitoring tools Solid knowledge of Linux patching, system maintenance, and upgrades Experience with RAK mounting (rack & stack / hardware setup) General IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, OS, basic networking) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
