Build real-world AI — and see your work live in production If you want your computer vision work to leave the lab, reach production, and make a visible impact, this role is built for you. You'll work on real image and video problems, deploy models that are actually used, and grow your career by owning meaningful AI systems end to end. This isn't a research-only role or endless experimentation. You'll build, ship, improve, and scale computer vision models that matter — with the freedom to influence technical decisions and the support to keep learning. What You'll Be Working On You'll spend your time: Building and deploying computer vision models (detection, classification, segmentation, tracking) that run in real environments Turning messy image and video data into reliable, high-performing models Applying modern deep learning techniques and adapting them for production constraints Improving models for accuracy, speed, and scalability, not just benchmarks Working closely with engineers and product teams so your models actually get used Owning parts of the system end to end and seeing the impact of your decisions What You'll Get Out of This Role Real production ownership — your models go live, not into slide decks Clear technical growth, from stronger ML engineering to deployment and optimisation Exposure to challenging, non-trivial vision problems with real-world constraints A role where your ideas shape solutions, not just implementations Room to grow into senior, lead, or specialist paths as the team scales What You Bring You don't need to tick every box, but you'll likely have: Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow Solid understanding of deep learning for computer vision Experience working with real-world image or video data Interest in getting models into production and improving them over time A practical, problem-solving mindset Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with edge or GPU-optimised deployments Cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Familiarity with MLOps or CI/CD for ML Background in industrial, medical, smart-city, or similar applied vision domains Salary & Benefits €75,000 – €95,000 gross per year, depending on experience Performance bonus Full Belgian benefits package (meal vouchers, mobility budget or company car, insurance, pension) Flexible hours and hybrid working from Brussels Why This Role Stands Out You'll build AI that's used, grow your technical depth, and have real ownership over what you deliver — all while working on problems that are genuinely hard and interesting.
