Als Solutions Architect maak je deel uit van de divisie Architectuur & Innovatie. Je staat mee aan het roer van de digitale transformatie van ons applicatielandschap. Je bent de brug tussen de conceptuele en de technische implementaties. Meebouwen, initiatief nemen, pro-activiteit en team werk zijn enkele kernwoorden die onze divisie A&I kenmerkt.
Onze organisatie evolueert sterk op vlak van architectuurstandaarden. Momenteel loopt een traject om onze aanpak te stroomlijnen en te optimaliseren op vlak van proces, deliverables en tools. We zoeken dus naar mensen die in staat zijn die beweging samen met ons te maken en uit te dragen.
Voor onze dienst architectuur van VDAB zoeken we naar mensen die de maturiteit van onze standaarden en output kunnen vergroten.. Actief meedenken en proactief met ideeën komen is dus zeer welgekomen.
Wat ga je doen?
- Je vertaalt een concrete vraag van de business naar veranderingen die nodig zijn in het applicatielandschap. Dit doe je door brainstormsessies te leiden waar mogelijke oplossing voor business problemen worden bedacht, door opportuniteiten voor procesverbeteringen te identificeren, door samen te werken met business en IT.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de "fit for purpose" van de oplossing en de alignering met het kader geschept door de Enterprise Architecten.
- Je steunt daarbij op de Applicatie Architecten voor concrete detailkennis over de functionele en technische aspecten van de betrokken applicaties en het uitwerken van veranderingen eraan. De organisatie ondersteunen in haar beslissingen met inzicht in en kennis over de mate waarin business services, capabilities, processen en applicatie services voldoen aan de huidige noden en de mate waarin ze kunnen voldoende aan mogelijk toekomstige noden.
Wie zoeken we?
Je hebt een master diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
Technische Vaardigheden:
- Je bent hands-on, analytisch en communicatief (in vlot Nederlands). Je staat eerst altijd stil bij het 'waarom' en stelt altijd in vraag of iets logisch of wel de juiste oplossing is.
- Je bent sterk in het analyseren van requirements in combinatie met lange termijn visie.
- Je hebt een sterke ervaring in het ontwerpen van applicatiearchitectuur op functioneel niveau.
- Je bent in staat om de business requirements te begrijpen en deze om te zetten in solution designs.
- Je bent sterk in het zoeken, uitwerken en documenteren van oplossing richtingen.
- Je hebt ervaring in dossiers voorbereiden en deze te presenteren op Architecture Board
- Je hebt ervaring in het gebruik van frameworks, standaarden, methodologieën en tools voor architectuurdoeleinden zoals Enterprise Architect van Sparx Systems, TOGAF, Archimate, ITIL, BPMN,… Je kunt efficiënt werken met Jira en Google Workplace.
- Je hebt kennis en ervaring met softwareontwikkeling & integratie design patterns
- Je kan effectief communiceren met teamleden met verschillende rollen, gaande van business vertegenwoordigers tot ontwikkelaars
- Je werkt zelfstandig en resultaatgericht
Soft Skills:
- Analytisch Vermogen: kritisch en analytisch denken en handelen is een must
- Communicatievaardigheden: Je hebt een vlotte en verbindende communicatiestijl, zowel geschreven, gesproken als in actief luisteren.
- Doelgericht & klantgericht: Initiatief nemen is een must.
- Creativiteit: Naast de kunst van flexibiliteit en autonomie, rekenen we ook op je klantgerichtheid en leergierigheid.
Ervaring:
- Je hebt min. 5 jaar ervaring als solution architect..
Jouw toekomstig team
Het team bestaat uit een twintigtal collega's, die onderverdeeld zijn in domeinen en diverse projecten begeleiden. De samenwerking met de ontwikkelteams en met business is een cruciaal onderdeel van je job. Je wordt dus niet alleen verondersteld analyses of architecturen aan te leveren, maar ervoor te zorgen dat je jouw visie op de juiste manier en aan de juiste mensen overdraagt.
Collegialiteit, openheid en goede communicatie zijn daarbij cruciaal
Wat krijg je?
Je wordt tewerkgesteld via Vlaanderen connect., de ICT strategische dienstverlener van de Vlaamse overheid en VDAB. Je krijgt een contract van onbepaalde duur om bij VDAB aan de slag te gaan.
Naast een competitief salaris heb je in het pakket:
- een mobiliteitsbudget (bedrijfswagen en/of openbaar vervoer en/of netto huisvestigingskosten)
- netto onkostenvergoeding en maaltijdcheques van €8 euro/gewerkte dag
- opleidingsbudget
- groeps- en hospitalisatieverzekering
- een gezonde balans tussen werk en privé: een werkweek van 38 uur, 28 dagen verlof plus 3 extra wettelijke feestdagen en tussen Kerst en Nieuwjaar zijn we een weekje dicht. Verder zijn er flexibele werkuren en we werken 2 dagen per week (meer kan) op kantoor (op 5 minuten wandelen van het Centraal station in Brussel.
