One of valued clients based in Liege is looking for Data Architect to join their team. 12 month contract Based in Liege Hybrid working - 2 days a week on site English speaking only (preference for FR speaking but not mandatory) Must be eligible to work in Belgium The client is open to both freelance or permanent employees. The Data Architect is an autonomous, influential driver of DataMesh 2.0 — a person who takes vision, challenges it intelligently, strengthens it, and then moves it into real execution. This role blends strategy with hands‑on depth: designing data products, defining federated governance, building telemetry flows, and working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineering teams to ensure delivery. Your Profile Strong level of understanding of Data Architecture, Data modelling and Data product design Strong experience in event-driven pipelines Broad exposure across analytics, ML, BI, real‑time data, and platform engineering. Transforms data needs into clear architectures, roadmaps, and engineering plans. Skilled in modeling domains, lineage, product interfaces, and federated ownership.
