For a long-term assignment with one of our customers, we are looking for a Windows Cloud Engineer Consultant.

Mission :

As a Windows Cloud Engineer, you will be in charge of:

  1. Cloud Solution Planning, Implementation, and Management:
  • Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure: Plan, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, including the deployment of virtual machines, networks, storage solutions, and monitoring tools.
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents that cannot be addressed by the Service Desk or are generated by the monitoring system, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution.
Security Policy Implementation and Compliance Management:
  • Security Policy Implementation: Implement and manage security policies to ensure the integrity of cloud-based systems.
  • Identity Management: Utilize Azure Active Directory for identity management, ensuring secure authentication and access control for all users.
  • Compliance Enforcement: Enforce compliance standards using tools like Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel, ensuring that the cloud environment adheres to industry regulations such as ISO 27001 or CMMC.
Cloud Resource Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
  • Continuous Monitoring: Use Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics to continuously monitor cloud resources, ensuring they operate at optimal performance.
  • Cost Efficiency Management: Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, identifying areas for potential savings while maintaining performance standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve any system or performance issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Knowledge Transfer and Documentation:
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training sessions for the SIS team, equipping them with the skills needed to manage and maintain the Windows cloud infrastructure post-project.
  • Documentation: Ensure all configurations, solutions, and processes are well-documented and comply with project requirements, enabling effective handover and future maintenance.
Flexibility and Global Collaboration:
  • Time Zone Flexibility: Be flexible to work and support teams across different time zones depending on the project needs, ensuring smooth coordination and project delivery.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing large Windows server based platforms.
  • Very good knowledge of O365, Azure, Entra ID, Pureview.
  • Very good knowledge of Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Very good Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, MDATP, MCAS).
  • Good knowledge of IAC.
  • VMware Virtual Infrastructure Management Knowledge.

Considered as a plus:

  • Experience working for an international group.
  • Familiar with ISO 27001 or CMMC.

Education Qualification and Certifications:

  • Vmware.

Language:

A fluent level of English is required, both spoken and written, as the role involves working on a global level. Fluency in French would be a plus.
