Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of a Configuration and Asset Manager in Netcompany-Intrasoft?
As a Configuration and Asset Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accuracy and completeness of configuration item (CI) records;
- Collect and organize information about existing software licenses;
- Ensure that the company uses software licenses according to the terms of the contract, to avoid license violations and fines;
- Maintain a database of software licenses used in the company, including software versions, license expiration dates, costs and terms;
- Explore ways to optimize the use of software licenses in the company, by identifying underutilized software or using multi-user licenses instead of individual licenses;
- Perform regular audits of the CMDB and reconcile discrepancies with actual IT assets.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 4 years' relevant experience;
- Proven experience in IT asset management and configuration management roles;
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP;
- Strong knowledge of software asset management (SAM) and hardware asset management (HAM);
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail;
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation and reports;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- ITIL Certification OR completion of an ITIL certification within 3 months of starting the position.
