Responsibilities- Contribute to the operationalization and implementation of the mission, strategy, and objectives setting of Procurement BeLux.
- Manage the request-to-pay activities within your scope and collaborate with other Procurement teams and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end service delivery of business and procurement targets, in line with procurement governance.
- Manage a team of purchasing admins and buyers that handle purchasing requests in line with purchasing policy and service levels.
- Optimize the workload, increasing transversal uniform ways of working, and guaranteeing qualitative output while working closely with the business.
- Maximize the use of catalogues by the end users.
- Support the implementation of new tools (e.g., Coupa).
- Apply the proper procurement policies and processes to achieve organizational goals.
- Communicate and apply Group and Equans BeLux procurement governance throughout the organization.
- Coach other (lead) buyer profiles as needed.
- Support to increase the visibility of procurement activities and organization.
- Work towards, follow-up, and report on procurement savings targets.
- Manage/coordinate procurement support for overall projects.
- Act as procurement SPOC for internal clients and other stakeholders.
- Manage the contract lifecycle of existing contracts.
- Negotiate and manage new (recurrent) contracts.
- Support other roles with contract management expertise.
- Collaborate with other Procurement teams to ensure contract management in line with procurement governance.
- Develop and maintain expertise in one or more procurement categories.
You report to the Head of Procurement Operations.
What do you need to excel in this job?- University master or equivalent by relevant experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in multi-technical domains.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP, Coupa) and Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Expert procurement skills and knowledge: negotiation, contracting, financial and cost management, contracts, and purchase law.
- Expert in leading and motivating teams across different sites.
- Very good communication & influencing skills.
- Verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and at least one other language: French or English.
