Project Description
We are currently looking for an IT Workplace Systems Engineer for a project within the defense sector. This role will focus on the management and optimization of IT workplace systems to ensure seamless functionality and high-quality service to the client's workforce. You'll be working in a dynamic and challenging environment, where your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will make a significant impact on daily operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively resolving IT tickets using Jira ServiceDesk to ensure quick and efficient issue resolution.
- Providing both local and remote support, including hardware setup and management using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
- Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance across the workplace environment.
- Implementing improvements to systems, processes, and IT security to enhance overall workplace productivity and security.
- Contributing to innovative IT projects that drive continuous improvement within the company.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base (Wiki) and creating technical documentation and guides to support internal teams.
- Anticipating and addressing potential IT failures to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Your strengths
- Solid experience in IT support (several years in a similar role).
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, virtualized infrastructure, networking (LAN, TCP/IP), IT security, Office tools (Microsoft Office), Active Directory, and SCCM.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and network printing.
- Fluent in French, English is a plus
- Proactive, creative, enthusiastic, and result-oriented team player with strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
