RPG Analyst/Developer (Insurance) – Freelance A leading insurance client of ours in Belgium are looking for an RPG Analyst/Developer to join for a long term, freelance mission.You will join a multidisciplinary team where you design, build, test, and deliver RPG solutions on the IBMi platform, supporting both new and existing initiatives.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications on the IBM iSeries platform, writing RPG code to create and modify programs that perform specific tasks, such as data processing, reporting, and business logic implementation.Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, understanding the needs of end-users and designing software solutions that meet those requirements.Create, modify, and optimize SQL queries to interact with the database and manage data effectively.Maintain and update existing RPG programs. Identifying and resolving issues, optimizing code for performance, and applying patches and updates as necessary.Conduct thorough testing of the applications to ensure they function correctly and meet the specified requirements.Requirements:5+ Years as an RPG DeveloperEnglish speakingAdditional DetailsSTART DATE: ASAPDURATION: 12 MonthsCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: BrusselsONSITE POLICY: FlexibleHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGAUGES: EnglishINTERVIEW PROCESS: 1 Stage
