Als full service distributiebedrijf levert SMT materiaal en machines (denk aan graafmachines, walsers, dumpers,…) voor de sectoren bouw, material handling en recyclage in België en Luxemburg. We zijn exclusieve verdeler van Volvo, Sennebogen en Holms.

Om ons commercial solutions team uit te breiden zijn we op zoek naar een Commercial Product Specialist (m/v/x).

Als Commercial Product Specialist ondersteun je het commerciële salesteam met diepgaande product expertise. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het vertalen van technische specificaties naar concrete oplossingen voor klanten en interne teams. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van product- en prijsinformatie, werkvoorbereiding en het opstellen van technische documentatie.

Je werkt nauw samen met leveranciers en collega's om maatwerkoplossingen te bieden en commerciële doelstellingen te ondersteunen.

Als spilfiguur zorg jij ervoor dat:

  • Voorbereiden en coördineren van de Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
  • Vertalen van specifieke aanpassingen naar duidelijke werkinstructies voor de werkplaats.
  • Beheren en up-to-date houden van de sales configurator software, inclusief de invoer van nieuwe opties.
  • Opstellen van elektrische en hydraulische schema's ter ondersteuning van de werkvoorbereiding PDI.
  • Bieden van commercieel-technische ondersteuning aan het salesteam.
  • Onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers en partners.
  • Opvragen en analyseren van offertes en prijslijsten bij leveranciers.
  • Uitwerken van op maat gemaakte oplossingen voor offerte-opmaak bij niet-standaard opties.
  • Presenteren van nieuwe en bestaande producten aan klanten en interne commerciële teams.
  • Actueel houden van product- en prijsinformatie voor commerciële offertes aan eindklanten.

Om succesvol te kunnen zijn in deze job heb je:

  • Technische achtergrond/kennis.

  • Kunnen samenwerken met collega's en klanten.
  • Drietaligheid FR-NL-EN.
  • Analytisch vermogen.
  • Oplossingsgericht denkvermogen.
