SGS Life Sciences test in opdracht van de farma-industrie veiligheid en nevenwerkingen van geneesmiddelen.Dit gebeurt voornamelijk met gezonde vrijwilligers in onze Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) van SGS naast het Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen (UZA). Momenteel zoeken we ter versterking van het team van de CPU een: Arts (Clinical Research Physician)Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor het voorbereiden, realiseren en coördineren van studies in fase I, II en III die worden toevertrouwd aan onze CPU Unit in Antwerpen. Je zorgt ervoor dat de studie binnen de vastgestelde termijn en afspraken uitgevoerd wordt: Je vergaart de nodige wetenschappelijke en medische informatie met betrekking tot de studie en de studiemedicatie en bestudeert de Investigator's brochure die door de sponsor ter beschikking wordt gesteld. Op basis hiervan beoordeel je de wetenschappelijke, medische en ethische aspecten van de studie. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de communicatie met de sponsor over deze aspecten. Je leest het studieprotocol na, brengt zo nodig wijzigingen aan in overleg met de sponsor, en uiteindelijk verklaar je je akkoord. Je tekent ook het finale studieprotocol. Je vergewist je ervan dat alle nodige "resources" voor het uitvoeren van de studie aanwezig zijn (materiaal/personeel). Je volgt van nabij de rekrutering van vrijwilligers/patiënten, die uitgevoerd wordt door de dienst rekrutering, om zich ervan te gewissen dat het gewenste aantal vrijwilligers/patiënten kan gevonden worden tegen de voorziene datum en met het voorziene budget. Je zorgt voor regelmatig overleg is met alle medewerkers aan het project: Initiation Visit, Team Meeting, (tussentijdse -) Budget-evaluatie, Close Out Visit. Je neemt actief deel aan een evaluatie van de studie, met betrekking tot het budget, de uren en de kwaliteit. Wat heb je nodig om succesvol te zijn? Je bent Arts, Dokter in de Genees-, Heel- of Verloskunde . Je bent ingeschreven in de Orde der Geneesheren en gerechtigd om de geneeskunde uit te oefenen in België. Je hebt voldoende klinische ervaring om de medische verantwoordelijkheid te kunnen dragen (minimum 2 jaar of gelijkgesteld); Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels. Je hebt kennis van de courante software toepassingen (Exel, Word,...). Ten slotte kan je je ook volledig vinden in volgende karaktereigenschappen: je bent communicatief en klantgericht, nauwkeurig, secuur en integer, je bent stressbestendig en een echte team player.Wat wij aanbieden : Was je toch al aan het nadenken over jouw carrière?
