Solution Architect At adesso Belgium, we are looking for a Solution Architect to join the Consumer Centricity (CC) Cluster within a product operating model following agile principles. The role will support transformation initiatives across Belgium and Germany, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders and subject‑matter experts. Job Requirements Preferred start date: ASAP Duration: 12 months Rate: To be discussed Your Role The Solution Architect will design or adapt technical solutions to address business challenges while modernizing the application landscape. Responsibilities include: Support the Customer Centricity product clusters daily in defining architectures that are realizable by the different product teams. Document the existing and future landscape consistently with other architects. Advise other architecture disciplines on architecture trade‑offs. Analyze constraints, non‑functional and functional requirements. Decompose business capability into Solution Building Blocks using recommended architectural styles and patterns. Serve as the key link aligning all stakeholders in the Product Organization, Architecture team, and delivery team. Deliver Architecture Designs in accordance with Elia Group’s standards and guidelines. Provide designs following experience in integration design, application architecture, and available tools. Adhere to governance structures (Architecture Review Boards) for gating and decision making. Requirements Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture with strong interaction with business and technical teams. Experience identifying cross‑module end‑to‑end processes across different streams. Document and maintain architecture blueprints (Business, Application, Data) and integration flows. Build solutions for Enterprise‑Level Portal Strategy (B2B/B2C). Foundational knowledge of standards such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, CBAM. Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus. Knowledge of Domain‑Driven Design, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and how to apply them. Understanding of Data Architecture concepts (data products, integration patterns, storage and access patterns). Should Have Familiarity with IT infrastructure layer. Familiarity with security concepts (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SSO). Developer experience (.NET, Blazor, JS/TS, Azure, Kubernetes). Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Kafka, SAP (S/4 HANA, BTP, CPI, Event Mesh). Soft Skills Facilitator, able to influence and reach consensus. Acts as a bridge between business, platform and product teams and has good communication skills. Agile mindset with experience in large agile projects. Team player open to feedback. Autonomous, self‑motivated and proactive. Result‑oriented pragmatism. Language Skills Fluent in English (mandatory). Ability to collaborate with French, Dutch and German speaking team members; knowledge of these languages, especially German, is an added value. Fluency in reading, writing, speaking English and French or Dutch. Additional Information Location: Emperor, Brussels. Telework: Minimum 2 days/week onsite (Tuesday onsite).
