Heading up a dedicated, hard-working housekeeping team, you will ensure flawless running of the department, integral in ensuring our guests experience the high levels of comfort and quality they expect from the Rocco Forte name.Energetic, positive and unflappable in a fast-paced environment, you will be a perfectionist, taking pride in the pursuit of excellence. And as a key member of our management team you will lead by example, drawing on your outstanding communication and leadership skills to ensure those high standards are met by your teamYour key responsibilities As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:Monitor Housekeeping staff to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition.Supervise the Housekeeping team to ensure optimum cleanlinessMonitor Housekeeping to ensure known repeat guests and VIPs receive special attention and recognitionActively participate to service recoverySchedule and regularly conducts routine inspections of areas under his/her controlKnow system recovery proceduresMaintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of departmental employeesConduct comprehensive departmental meetings to include a review of current & new procedures and events which warrants specialCommunicate to his superiors all information likely to be interest to themMaintain all procedures and adheres to them within the Rocco Forte Hotels guidelines and company values. Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standardsBeing attentive to guests and taking appropriate action to recover guest's complaintsAccurately and promptly fulfilling guests requests and anticipate guests needs.Keep abreast of trends in his/her area and implement best practice initiatives.Plan for future staffing needsPrepare detailed orientation programs for new staffEnsure training needs analysis of his/her departmental, deliver training programs and maintain records for all direct reports Actively work at developing his/her direct reports and identify high potentialsConduct probation and formal performance appraisal in line with company guidelinesApprove leave requests after considering peaks and troughs in the businessRegularly communicate with staff to maintain positive relationshipsWho we are looking for Fluent oral and written proficiency in English and French Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Available starting April 2026 Why working with usBeing part of Rocco Forte Hotels means engaging in a career where passion and dedication are recognised and rewarded, making it an ideal place for those seeking growth and excellence in the hospitality industry.
