An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced IT Support professional to join a collaborative team within the European industrial sector. Based in Brussels, this position offers a competitive salary package and the chance to contribute to a key industry that impacts daily life. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing efficient technical support and ensuring seamless operations for users.
The IT Support will be responsible for:
- Handle first-line IT support requests through a ticketing system or direct calls (phone, MS Teams).
- Conduct an initial assessment of requests to prioritize urgency.
- Resolve straightforward issues independently or escalate complex cases to senior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems remotely or on-site.
- Communicate effectively with users, understand their challenges, and explain solutions clearly.
- Maintain a professional and user-focused approach, demonstrating empathy and patience while addressing concerns.
Profile of the ideal IT Support:
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and the MS Office 365 suite, with a strong focus on MS Teams.
- Ability to resolve common issues with PCs/laptops, including software configurations, network settings, printing, Wi-Fi, and audio/visual setups.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
