FREELANCE Contract: (ASAP – 27/11/2026)Brussels, Belgium (50% on-site / 50% remote)Must reside in Belgium and hold the right to work in BelgiumWe are seeking an Operational Security Engineer to join our clients IT Production Security team. You will work closely with the IT Continuity & Resilience Officer to ensure the organisation can respond effectively to critical application or datacenter failures. Your role will involve defining and promoting IT Continuity & Resilience strategies, implementing policies, frameworks, and tools, coordinating Cyber Resilience initiatives, and participating in disaster recovery exercises.Key Responsibilities:Support in maintaining and improving IT Continuity and Resilience.Define and implement IT Continuity & Resilience strategies across the organisation.Establish policies, frameworks, methods, and tools for IT and Cyber Resilience.Coordinate disaster recovery exercises and Cyber Resilience initiatives.Engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure robust resiliency practices.Skills & Qualifications :Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure resiliency.Strong technical knowledge: Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, Middleware.Experience with Agile methodology.Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.Fluent in English (French and Dutch are a plus).Able to work under pressure and take responsibility for key decisions.Apply Now to join our team and help build a resilient, secure, and innovative IT environment.
