Our client is looking for a Senior .NET Software Architect:

Azure and M365 are key platforms we use to achieve strategic objectives. To accelerate and ensure the realization of our ambitions, we are looking for a .NET Software Architect who will play a key cross-team role with our project and operational teams to deliver high quality solutions.

This position is hands-on, so an operational background (senior/lead developer type) is required as it requires development.

Tasks

1 - Architectural planning and design

Requirements analysis:

  • You learn about functional and non-functional requirements through close collaboration with stakeholders. You ensure that these requirements are clearly documented and understood before going ahead with the design.
  • Architecture design: You create a flexible and scalable high-level structure for the system, carefully defining the components, their interactions and the technologies involved.
  • Design patterns: you apply established design and architecture patterns (such as MVC, MVVM, DDD) to create robust, maintainable and scalable solutions. You choose the most appropriate models for the context of the project..

2 - Development and integration

  • Proof of concept development: You validate technical feasibility by developing prototypes. You use these proofs of concept to test and refine ideas before implementing them on a large scale.
  • Systems integration: You plan and implement seamless integration of different systems and services, making effective use of APIs, web services and microservices.
  • Frameworks and tools: Select and recommend the most appropriate frameworks and tools in the .NET ecosystem. Ensure that these choices fit the needs of the project and facilitate efficient development and maintenance.

3 - Quality Management

  • Code Review: You will establish a rigorous code review process to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing Strategies: You define comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration and performance testing.
  • Automation
  • You implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing and deployments.

4 - Security

  • Security policies: You maintain robust security policies to protect data and systems.
  • Audits and assessments: You regularly conduct security audits and code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

5 - Performance and scalability

  • Performance Optimization: You continuously identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Scalability planning: You design systems with scalability in mind so they can grow and adapt to growing demand.

6 - Documentation and communication

  • Technical Documentation: Maintain complete and up-to-date technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and specifications. Ensure documentation is clear, accessible and useful to all stakeholders.
  • Communication: You will promote open and effective communication between development, QA, operations teams and stakeholders.

7 - Mentoring and training

Mentoring: You provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers, promote their technical growth and foster a learning culture.

8 - Innovation and Research

Technology research: You keep abreast of new trends and technologies in the market. You regularly evaluate their applicability to current and future projects.

Improvement proposals: You advocate continuous improvement of architecture and development processes.
