You benefit from personalised coaching professional support and continuity throughout your assignment.As a freelancerYou work in a transparent collaboration model with competitive daily rates a clearly defined interim scope and professional support from MindCapture.In both cases, you work as a MindCapture consultant in an international organisation within a highly dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment.Job descriptionIn this role you are responsible for supplier quality performance across a defined commodity supplier portfolio or geographical scope, with a strong focus on NPI and risk management.Own supplier delivery quality and proactively manage quality and compliance risksPerform supplier capability assessments audits and risk analysesAct as primary interface for escalated supplier quality issues and drive structured resolutionLead cross functional investigations with internal teams and suppliersAssess supplier and component risks during NPI including new suppliers processes and technologiesBuild and manage the critical component list to support risk based sourcing decisionsChallenge supplier capabilities and product design feasibility to reduce manufacturing and technology risksFollow up First Article Inspections and corrective actions to secure NPI milestonesApply tools such as audits process validations FMEA DFx and lessons learnedLead critical component meetings aligned with stage gate milestonesReport open risks and provide fact based input for go no go decisionsMonitor supplier performance trends and define supplier development actions with procurementDrive sustainable supplier improvements in quality yield compliance security and sustainabilityRequirementsMaster’s degree or equivalent experienceFive or more years of experience in quality and or engineering rolesStrong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 is a plusExperience with internal supplier and process auditsStrong problem solving and root cause analysis skillsProject management experienceExperience in medical devices or automotive environments is a strong assetStrong communication skills and ability to lead supplier discussionsAutonomous working style with strong prioritisation skillsStructured hands on and detail oriented mindsetFluent in EnglishAre you ready to make a real difference in quality and supplier performance?Join our dynamic team and help strengthen supplier excellence.Apply now and let’s make an impact together.Want to learn more?
