Senior Full Stack Engineer – Cutting-Edge Medical Software | Ghent | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite) Location: Ghent, Belgium Employment Type: Full-time, Payroll About The Company We are working with a cutting-edge software development company revolutionising the medical domain through cutting edge products and applications to be used by medical professionals around the world. Their Ghent-based team combines deep medical expertise with advanced software engineering to create products that truly make a difference. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape the next generation of the company — someone who thrives in a modern tech environment and wants to see their work have a real-world impact. The Role As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll join our talented, cross-functional development team working on high-impact projects from architecture to delivery. You'll collaborate closely with the team, clients and other stakeholders. You'll spend your time: Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack solutions using Java on the backend and TypeScript, Angular on the frontend. Ensuring code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews. Coaching junior developers, sharing your expertise, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence. Contributing to architectural discussions and helping shape the technical direction of the products About You You're a passionate engineer who enjoys solving complex problems with clean, maintainable code. You're curious, proactive, and eager to grow — not just technically, but into a future Lead Developer. You'll bring: Solid experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks). Strong frontend development skills in TypeScript or Svelte. A good understanding of modern development practices (CI/CD, containerization, REST APIs, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A collaborative mindset with a willingness to coach and support others. Availability to work onsite in Ghent twice a week.
