The projects are situated within the plastics industry Close contact with customers and internal process engineers is essential New concepts are designed in 3D (Solidworks) Responsibility for material selection and process development, from concept to production, falls under your duties There is direct reporting to the global R&D director The possibility to advance to the position of senior engineer and lead projects is available A master's degree in Industrial Sciences Knowledge of the plastics industry or related fields 3-5 years of experience in product design and polymer materials, 1-3 years of experience in injection molding or extrusion or related areas Proficient in mechanical design, able to design products from scratch and create 3D drawings; our client uses Solidworks Experience with applying and processing polyolefin and/or TPU materials A creative thinker, proactively seeking innovation and improvement, with a proven track record of coming up with and implementing new ideas Possessing analytical skills, able to make connections, manage technical challenges, and find practical solutions Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working within deadlines and budgets, and collaborating well in a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
