We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer (Java + Angular) to support a major organisation in the telecommunications industry in Belgium. Logistics Position: Freelance Full-Stack Developer – Java & Angular Duration: 12-month contract (with potential extension) Day Rate: €(Competitive & Negotiable) Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week) Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (backend) and Angular (frontend). Work closely with product owners, solution architects, and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver robust, production-ready features. Build modular, secure, and scalable APIs and backend services to support high-traffic telecommunications systems. Develop intuitive, performant, and responsive frontend interfaces that enhance both customer and operational user experiences. Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support a DevOps-driven, continuous-delivery environment. Ensure code quality and reliability through rigorous testing, reviews, and best-practice engineering standards. Participate in architectural discussions and help drive technical decision-making across both ongoing enhancements and new greenfield projects. Essential Skills & Experience Strong professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer with Java (Spring preferred) and Angular (latest versions a plus). Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, microservices, and cloud-oriented architectures. Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale environments—telecommunications experience is highly valued. Ability to translate business and functional needs into clean, maintainable, and performant technical solutions. Comfortable working within Agile teams and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities, ownership mentality, and an ability to thrive in fast-moving environments. Fluent in English; French or Dutch is an advantage. Why Join?
