We are supporting a major enterprise-level organisation undergoing a large-scale IT transformation. To strengthen a newly established Test & QA function, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager with strong Test Data Management (TDM) expertise to play a key role in this greenfield initiative.LogisticsRole: Freelance Test Manager – Test Data ManagementContract: 12 months (extension likely)Location: Brussels (Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site)Languages: English + French or DutchStart Date: ASAPRate: Competitive & negotiableResponsibilitiesDefine and implement a robust Test Data Management (TDM) strategyEnsure availability of secure, compliant, and high-quality test data across environmentsAlign test data strategy with overall test approach and project objectivesManage the end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple initiativesOversee test execution, defect management, risks, and quality reportingAct as a key stakeholder interface across IT, business, and delivery teamsDrive continuous improvement in testing processes and test data practicesRequired SkillsStrong experience as a Test Manager in complex IT environmentsProven expertise in Test Data Management (masking, anonymisation, subsetting)Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologiesHands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similarSQL knowledge and exposure to test automation (Selenium and/or Robot Framework)Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilitiesNice to HaveExperience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)ISTQB certificationExposure to energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure domainsInterested?
